With the enormous range of resources available on the web for self-directed language learning, it's impossible to keep a list of this type completely up-to-date.  This annotated list includes some of the MILL staff's favourite sites, last updated in June 2005.

  • ICCT is based at Wheaton Collge and is designed to "equip Christians to meet some of the principal challenges of cross-cultural ministry", focusing onskills for learning a new language and practical help for those who work with on-field language and culture learners.

  • I like their "good practice guide" a collection of essays on various aspects of LL

  • "The aim of Omniglot is to provide a comprehensive overview of written language in all its forms.
